. Something a little different for our April Drive. Thanks to Jason Stahl we are going to have a time-speed-distance (TSD) rally. A WHAT???? This is a fun event where Jason will lay out a course (just some back roads around Brevard) with very detailed instructions (left at the Stop Sign, turn at the red barn, left at the four-way stop) and you get to see how close you get to the time established for the course. Now if your speedometer doesn’t work too well then you can download (Speedometer Simple) app to your phone or just say to heck with it and guess. It’s all for fun. Oh, and to keep it interesting, each car will leave C’s Waffles several minutes apart so you hopefully don’t see each other along the route (and if you see someone going the other way that may or may not be good) lol. This drive will as always end up at some restaurant for our dining pleasure.

Wheels Across The Pond is one of the premier British Classic Car and Motorcycle Shows, and has definitely become the largest, in the state of Florida taking place on Easter Saturday each year at the beautiful Carlin Park in Jupiter (400 Florida A1A, Jupiter FL 33477). Since our first show in 2007, we have continued to grow to where now we can expect more than 300 British and European Classics every year. Wheels Across The Pond is free to spectator admission and our show raises money each year for both the MiniMe Foundation and a Jupiter-based nonprofit wildlife hospital and sanctuary, the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary.

The trip plan is meet up at the McDonald’s in Rockledge (1876 S US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL 32955) in time to leave by 8:30. Brian and Ginny have driven the route he’s chosen and the drive takes approximately two hours. A heads-up reservation has been made for 11:00 AM.
